Quality Seal for minneolas tangelos for export

The Peru Citrus Growers Association - ProCitrus through the Peru Citrus Quality Board present a Quality Seal for Peruvian Minneolas for export, through a pilot program for the 2014 season.

The Seal of Quality "Quality certified for export" certifies Peruvian Minneolas for export with the quality required to meet the most demanding international markets. In this initiative promoted by ProCitrus, will participate a group of six major exporting companies, which account for 73% of the export volume of Peruvian Minneolas. Furthermore, all of these companies have the most demanding certifications for their fields and their packing houses such as GlobalGAP, Tesco, BRC, HACCP, among others.

 "The Quality Seal will ensure our major customers and the most demanding supermarkets of the world, the internal quality of Peruvian Minneolas. We are very excited about this new project led by Procitrus, which not only generate a great responsibility for us as exporters but also for importers and buyers from supermarkets, which will have to require fruit with the Quality Seal with the goal of adequately satisfy their consumers" said Eugenio Oliveira, CEO of CPF, one of the participating companies.

The exporting companies participating in the Quality Seal for Minneolas are:

  • Huamani
  • Casa Chica
