Stronger crops with new Koppert biostimulant

A resilient crop means chemical treatments are required much less frequently. The risk of pests and diseases developing resistance to those chemicals is therefore reduced, and residue levels also decrease. Koppert Biological Systems is therefore pleased to announce the launch of Fortafol, a biostimulant that stimulates and strengthens the crop in an entirely natural way. Fortafol links up seamlessly with sustainable and integrated cultivation.

Fortafol is a combination of humic and fulvic acids in a water-soluble emulsion. The natural biostimulant improves the absorption of nutrients and water by the plant. Fortafol promotes the growth and condition of the plant and makes it resilient and better able to cope with sub-optimum growing conditions.

A building block in sustainable cultivation

According to product manager Rick van der Pas, Fortafol is ideal for use in sustainable, integrated cultivation. 'A stronger crop requires fewer chemical crop treatments. This reduces the risk of resistance, and residue levels also decrease. Moreover, treatment with Fortafol leaves intact the biological balance that has been built up.'

Spray and drench

Fortafol is available as a drench: Fortafol-D and as a spray: Fortafol-S. The special formulation of Fortafol-S accelerates the drying of the crop. Both Fortafol-S and Fortafol-D can be used in virtually all crops.
