Rogelio Holanda, a Brazilian chef at a 4 star hotel in Sao Paulo (Brazil), sculpts the faces of Cristiano, Messi and Neymar on the skin of watermelons. His sculptures have caught the attention of visitors, especially now, when there are only a few days before the World Cup starts.
Rogelio makes these reproductions in the blink of an eye, as he is able to sculpt, on an average of twenty minutes, the faces of some famous players who will be going to Brazil with their respective teams.
He usually sculpts the faces of Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar, but is able to sculpt just about anyone as he only needs a photo of the soccer stars, a pen to draw the players traits on the watermelon, and a knife.
"I'm a cook and this is my hobby. I like to make customers happy. It's very rewarding," he said after admitting that Cristiano Ronaldo was his favourite.
