Migros builds first bio take-away in Switzerland

In Shopville in Zurich, a shopping centre under the railway station, a Swiss retailer, Migros will shortly open a organic take-away. The organic take-away is the first of its kind. "The format is similar to that of a normal take-away with warm and cold meals and drinks. The difference is that all products offered are organically grown", says Rolf Fuchs, spokesperson for Migros, Zürich. The range of fruit juices, smoothies and salads will be especially expanded. However, people should not expect chips.

Fuchs cannot say if there will be any further organic take-aways to come. With the new outlet in Zurich, Migros wishes to first gain experience with the new shopping concept. The shop will be open on the 14th of June and is 40 square meters in size.
