Perpignan, 13th-15th May 2014

MedFEL 2014 to welcome melon congress in France

Medfel, the international fruit and vegetable business trade fair will take place on 13 - 15 May 2014 in Perpignan (France). Over the past years it has been an important show focused on the Mediterranean countries.

The latest edition will also welcome the Euro-Mediterranean Melon Congress for the first time. This international meeting organised by AREFLH will take place on Thursday following a conference on Tuesday and a press conference on melons on Wednesday with debates on organic melons and predictions for melon farming in Morocco, Spain and France in collaboration with APREL and AIM.

Crop forecasts for stonefruit will be announced at the show along with many other subjects during the Salon, such as the Dialogue 5+5 engaged in November 2013 in Algier, based on agricultural issues and food security.

Other conferences include dynamics and issues related to logistics in the Mediterranean, collective brands and general mobilisation for the consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables, without forgetting the inevitable predictions for peach, nectarine and apricot harvests.

You can enter this show free of charge and take advantage of the innovations you see and the consumption trends and crop forecasts.

In 2013 the MedFEL welcomed 4,894 visitors, 231 exhibitors from the Mediterranean basin and 3,840 B to B meetings.
