New branch organisation Abafrutas should strengthen Brazilian export

On the initiative of the Brazilian minister of Agriculture a new branch organisation for the export of fresh and processed fruit was founded under the name Abafrutas in Brazil, reports the German website Fruchthandel.de.

The branch organisation should stabilise existing sales markets, make new sales markets accessible and strengthen the domestic market, according to information from 'Agricultura Rural'. Luis Roberto Barcelos, company leader of the largest Brazilian melon exporter Agricola Famos is at the top of this new organisation.
