Berries of Ukraine – 2014: Frozen Produce & Fresh Market

Ukraine's most important berry business event moves to Vinnytsia, the region with largest farms growing strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, currants and other berries. The conference will offer its participants a two-day program: conference sessions on May 22 and business-tour on May 23.

Among the key topics discussed at the event there will be:

Ukrainian berry and cherry forecast for 2014. Production, imports, exports, pricing, trends
Development of the Ukrainian market for frozen berries and cherries
Berry processing, handling, storage, quality retention technologies

The business-tour will be held at Podillya Ltd and will focus on:

open-ground strawberry plantations and strawberry growing under cover;
production of raspberries, blueberries, currants and blackberries;
berry post-harvest cooling technologies;
manufacturing of directly squeezed juices.

Expected number of participants: 150 delegates from 9-11 countries of the world.
Growers who deal in strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, red and black currants, blueberries, table grapes, sweet and sour cherries account for more than a half of the delegates.
