Légulice invests €8 million in mushroom production unit

Légulice, which until now has imported its mushrooms from Holland, Poland and Ireland, has just announced the construction of its own production and packaging unit for button mushrooms- thanks to an €8 million investment.

Six of the eight million was financed by the municipality communities of Louvigné du Désert. The production site, which should be finished by 2015, is expected to produce 5,000 tons of mushrooms per year. 80 employment opportunities will be created.
