A lot of elephants were very lucky. Thailand celebrated elephant day. On this day the people donate all kinds of things to the elephants, such as lots of fruit and vegetables. But they also organise special ceremonies in which the animals are blessed. For this occasion they decorate the gentle giants in especially colourful blankets.
