Special product has arrives at Ecoville: the Purpura Aubergine

This week a very special product has arrived at Ecoville, the Purpura Aubergine. The Purpura Aubergine originates from Italy but has been organically grown by Frank de Koning in The Netherlands. The fruits have a basic white colour with a pink-purple blush which gives it a very attractive appearance.

The aubergine is an important part of Mediterranean cuisine. The flesh of this round fruit is strong and tasty which makes the Purpura ideal for grilling and for on the barbecue.
