DeltaTrak to host educational cold chain risk aversion webinar

DeltaTrak® has announced it will host an educational webinar on cold chain risk aversion. The webinar will present an overview of new regulations and recommended steps for documenting risk assessment and risk aversion plans. The "Cold Chain Risk Aversion: A Renewed Focus" webinar will be presented on March 12th at 11:00 am to 11:30 pm PST. The webinar will look at common similarities between the new China SFDA Good Supply Practices guidance and EU Guidelines on Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use.

"The new regulations described in our webinar share similar recommendations on controlling and managing the supply chain such as the need to establish and document a risk mitigation plan," said Frederick Wu, president and CEO of DeltaTrak. "Quality, warehouse, transport and cold chain managers and directors dealing with temperature sensitive products will find the regulation information educational and the practical suggested steps useful for documenting their quality management systems."

DeltaTrak's webinar will look at the regulations and requirements for documenting a complete risk assessment and risk aversion plan and detail recommended steps for completing this plan.

The webinar will be presented by Peter Norton DeltaTrak's director of business development. Mr. Norton's expertise includes an in depth knowledge of efficient approaches to monitoring and managing cold chain logistics operations, risk aversion and methods of securing the supply chain, gained from working within the Materials Management groups of large global Life Sciences companies.
