Bonduelle launches salad + dessert formula

Bonduelle has launched the 1st offer of a whole cold meal. This product is the result of a study, carried out for the company by Food Service Vision, that revealed the compromises the consumer is faced with during their lunch break (time, equipment, budget...) as well as their desires and physiological needs. Bonduelle has set up a salad + dessert formula.

This is presented as a platter with a salad meal (280g), a dessert in partnership with Andros and Bonne Maman, a small toasted bread (12g), a bottle of salad dressing, cutlery and a napkin. All of the ingredients in the salad are displayed separately so the client can see the proportions.



4 formulas are on offer: 2 with a fruity Andros dessert, 1 with a chocolate mousse and 1 with a Bonne Maman crème caramel. "We are taking a risk, but the €4.85 RRP is extremely attractive," underlines Pascal Bredeloux, CEO of Bonduelle Fresh Europe. It is a better deal than buying a main course and dessert separately.

The brand aims to reach a €3-5m turnover thanks to this innovative product as well as work they have done restyling their "Salade Fraicheur" range.
