Bonduelle launches salad + dessert formula
This is presented as a platter with a salad meal (280g), a dessert in partnership with Andros and Bonne Maman, a small toasted bread (12g), a bottle of salad dressing, cutlery and a napkin. All of the ingredients in the salad are displayed separately so the client can see the proportions.
4 formulas are on offer: 2 with a fruity Andros dessert, 1 with a chocolate mousse and 1 with a Bonne Maman crème caramel. "We are taking a risk, but the €4.85 RRP is extremely attractive," underlines Pascal Bredeloux, CEO of Bonduelle Fresh Europe. It is a better deal than buying a main course and dessert separately.
The brand aims to reach a €3-5m turnover thanks to this innovative product as well as work they have done restyling their "Salade Fraicheur" range.
