More than 800 exhibitors expected at AgroProdMash 2014

According to the rating company RussCom IT, the food processing exhibition AgroProdMash, taking place annually in Moscow, has become the most important trade fair in Russia. AgroProdMash ranks first of all Russian food processing exhibitions regarding number of exhibitors and visitors as well as represented countries. In 2013, over 770 companies from 36 countries presented the latest technologies and solutions for food processing, ingredients, packaging, cooling and storage equipment to 25,120 international visitors. This year AgroProdMash will be held from October 6 to 10 in Moscow with more than 800 participants from the food industry sector expected.

Russia is still dependent on the import of state-of-the-art machinery and equipment for the food industry. The aims of the Russian government to achieve self-sufficiency with food products and to become an important exporter in this field have not yet been accomplished. Reasons are to be found in outdated machinery and an undeveloped infrastructure. Therefore, the Russian food market provides great sales opportunities for manufacturers of machinery for food processing.

Participating in AgroProdMash offers the best opportunities to enter the lucrative Russian market and maintain existent business contacts in the region.
