'Farm Day Salinas', healthy education for students in the USA

Rijk Zwaan USA recently participated in the ‘Farm Day Salinas’, an educational event for more than 3300 students to learn about agriculture. It was seen as a great opportunity for Rijk Zwaan to promote healthy eating with 'Love my Salad'.

The Farm Day focused on 5 key areas of agriculture: food production, healthy eating, plant doctors, seed science and food safety. Rijk Zwaan had an own 'Love my Salad' table to learn the students and their teachers how to make salads a fun and delicious experience. Each teacher received a seedbox to use for a classroom project and information about my Love my Salad with several recipes.
