Premium brand KIKU® takes off globally
KIKU® presents fresh KIKU® apples, as well as KIKU® juice and the brandnew KIKU® slush ice to taste. KIKU® is really taking off, selling fresh KIKU® branded apples year round in more than 40 countries, increasing tonnage every year, launching new products and collaborating in more events and sponsorships. Licensed KIKU®partners and distributors will attend Fruit Logistica for specific meetings to review global strategies and exchange new ideas for promotion of KIKU® branded products, but also new packaging ideas like the “Mini KIKU®s” for smaller fruits. Regional marketing groups will coordinate specific activities on a global level, within the Southern Hemisphere producers, but also to develop the marketing in emerging Asian countries.
In 2014 KIKU® will attend for the 2nd time Asia Fruitlogistica in HongKong and strengthen the market and Partnerships. Furthermore the combined promo activities of the 26 global KIKU® partners will be shown on big displays, like the mountain festival KIKU.IMS® www.ims.bz, the KIKU® athletes, the winner of the KIKU® T-Shirt Design Award 2013 and the brandnew KIKU® Music Award 2014. Besides the KIKU® booth, some of the partners like traditional German OGM Oberkirch, Austrian OPST, but also Serbian newcomer Delta, will be exhibiting KIKU® branded products at their own stands as well.
On its inaugural stand in 4.2, KIKU Variety Management will also present ISAAQ®, the recently released “natural snack” apple. Being a compact apple, with a sweet-tart taste, ISAAQ® positions itself as a convenient and ideal apple for small portions. Naturally ISAAQ® apples will be provided at the stand for tastings, and the licensees will welcome invited customers for strategic meetings.
