Asia Fruit Logistica set for record year

Asia Fruit Logistica is set for another record year, with more than 350 exhibitors and around 6,000 top decision-makers expected to take part in the leading trade show for Asia’s fresh fruit and vegetable business on 4-6 September 2013 in Hong Kong.

“We have more exhibitors from more countries than ever before, which clearly underlines the interest in the Asian market from around the world,” confirms Gérald Lamusse, managing director of the exhibition’s organiser Global Produce Events (GPE). “In total, we’re expecting over 350 exhibitors from at least 34 countries.”

Some 17 countries will have national pavilions at Asia Fruit Logistica 2013, including Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Greece, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, South Africa, the US and Vietnam.

Altogether, more than 34 countries are set to take part as exhibitors, with Ecuador, Cyprus and Morocco making their debut appearance.

With its promotional campaign now running in over 100 countries, Asia Fruit Logistica is expected to attract around 6,000 top-level buyers and trade professionals from at least 60 countries.
