Italy: 2012 a difficult year for the leafy vegetables, due to rising costs

This year, the Veneto company Agricola Lusia will be at Fruit Logistica in Berlin, with all his staff, to welcome his guests and present his work.

The 2012 season was very difficult, due to the general decrease of consumption and extreme difficulties in the management of production costs, with which Agricola Lusia tried to be very careful, especially to support their associated farms.

Among the new features, the salad PGI (Protected geographical indication) Lusia was launched as a test in singles, with good results, some hopeful growth for 2013.

Agricola Lusia plans to be more professional in the quality and quantity of products destined to retailers, both national and foreign.
