Netherlands: Special attention for Lola apple and Conference pear in Berlin

C.G. Timmermans & Zn, as in 2012, will attend Fruit Logistica in Berlin this year. The company that specializes in trading apples and pears will once again highlight the different varieties currently on display.

"We’ll also be promoting our main export product, the Conference pears. These are well-represented in our stand in different types of packaging. Of course the pears can be sampled. These pears have an excellent taste: soft, ripe and juicy. This pear is the right choice for every occasion," says Jan Timmermans.

"This year we create special attention to Lola, a new apple variety. These apples have a very good shelf life, even at home in the fruit bowl. We will be sure to bring sufficient apples so that everyone who so desires can judge them for themselves. Grower Jan van Ingen and the president of the organization, Mathieu Gremmen, will be there to answer all technical questions. In addition, there will be two lovely ladies at hand for anyone who wants to sample the apples.”
