Camposol at Fruit Logistica for 11th time
Top managers and representatives of the international sales team, both from Lima and the European office in Maasdijk, will attend the fair to create and intensify customer relationships and present their broad range of products for the global market. In addition, Camposol will focus on various topics related with Corporate Social Responsibility. Being the third-largest employer in Peru, the company follows very strict social and ecological standards and is convinced that the programs set up during the past years will have a positive effect for both the community and the environment.
Blueberries are the most important innovation within the product range that Camposol will expose in Berlin. The European sales office is very contented with the outcome of the first commercial season of this item, and further growth is expected for 2013.
Another very important activity, especially for the German market, is the continuation of Camposol’s promotion activities for white asparagus with the aim of increasing the consumption with the help of in-store promotions and leaflets with specially created recipes.
This year Camposol will export about 45,000 t of fresh produce to Europe (as well as 10,000 t of frozen and 30,000 t of canned fruits and vegetables). The most important items are asparagus, avocados, blueberries, table grapes and mangoes.
In 2012 Camposol extended its international marketing force by opening a sales office in the United States. Furthermore, several new team members joint the European sales office to assure a more personalized attention to customers in France and Eastern Europe, apart from the existing Western European markets of Camposol.
