EuroFresh unveils Redi Bites snacking cucumbers and salsa kit at PMA

EuroFresh Farms, a year-round producer and marketer of greenhouse grown tomatoes and cucumbers, will be offering their new snacking products at booth #1702 during the PMA Fresh Summit in Anaheim, California. These products join the recently introduced Redi Bites grape-sized tomatoes and represent EuroFresh Farms’ commitment to the growth of their flavorful snacking category inventory. They will be sold under the ArtiSun Farms label.

“Based on market research, we believe our customers want additional healthy, convenient snacking options and EuroFresh is focused on exceeding consumer expectation,” said Mark Cassius, executive vice president of EuroFresh Farms. “We look forward to having a few surprises to introduce at PMA.”

The Redi Bites Snacking Cucumbers and the Campari Sonoran Salsa Kit are just two of the featured products debuting at the EuroFresh booth. Redi Bites Snacking Cucumbers are petite cukes, measuring approximately three and a half inches long, and sold in an eight ounce bag that allows customers to rinse and eat. They are seedless with a thin, non-bitter skin, which allows them to be enjoyed with no peeling or chopping.

The Campari Sonoran Salsa Kit pairs a 14-ounce container of EuroFresh’s most flavorful cocktail tomatoes with a custom salsa packet to create a full serving of preservative and additive free salsa.

“Salsa has surpassed ketchup in the condiment category and our new kit gives customers a way to make great tasting, fresh salsa, all year long, that you cannot get from a jar,” said Cassius. “The superior quality and flavor of these new varieties reinforce the difference EuroFresh offers over competitors’ products in the marketplace. We are excited about these new items and hope to have them on the market in early 2013.”
