Vietnam: Cashews earn $4 million for Tay Ninh

The southern province of Tay Ninh has fetched nearly US$4 million from exporting roughly 1,000 tonnes of cashew nuts to the US and the European Union (EU) over the first two months of this year.

The figure represents a year-on-year increase of 117 per cent in volume and 118 per cent in value.

The province is currently home to four cashew processors and exporters, yielding an annual output of nearly 100,000 tonnes of processed cashew nuts.
