India: Pistachio declines in thin trade
In thin trading, prices of pistachio drifted on the wholesale dry fruits market on Mondayfollowing withdrawal of support and ended lower.
Traders said, reduced offtake by stockists coupled with fresh arrival from overseas markets mainly brought down pistachio prices.
Pistachio irani, hairati and peshwari traded lower at Rs 480-510, Rs 510-530 and Rs 570-595 instead of Rs 485-515, Rs 515-535 and Rs 575-600 per kilo respectively.
