India: Almond eases on sluggish demand
Barring a fall in almond California, prices generally remained flat on the wholesale dry fruits market on Tuesday on scattered deals.
Marketmen said, a fall in demand in the wake of lower overseas advices mainly pulled down almond California prices.
Almond (California) eased to Rs.10,000 against the last closing of Rs.10,200 a 40 kg bag. Its kernel followed suit and quoted lower at Rs. 360-365 instead of Rs 365-370 a kilo.
