US: Woman's body found in lettuce truck

An investigation is under way into the discovery of a woman's body in a truck from Yuma that was making a delivery to a grocery store distribution center in Chariton, Iowa.

The body was found this morning in a truck delivering lettuce to the Hy-Vee center.

Hy-Vee spokeswoman Chris Friesleban says the truck was delivering Dole lettuce.

Friesleban says a Hy-Vee dock worker found the body while unloading the lettuce.

Officials at the Lucas County sheriff's office say the sheriff and chief deputy are at the scene, and no additional information has been released.
