St Petrus is an apple in a region blessed by the gods: sun, pure mountain air, snow, blue sky, alluvial soil. Backed by know-how combining ancient traditions and modern techniques to prefect an apple with a subtle aroma and a perfumed taste. The St Petrus apple has the virtues needed for your health: light, bracing and rich in vitamins.



The hi-tech précising installation used in the packing plant of Saint Petrus features electronic colour sorting and comprises 17 channels supplied by pure Alps spring water. This is filtered and treated naturally by ozone. The apple is thus transported by ideal bacteria free water.

A visual inspection makes it possible to detect any skin anomalies. An automated line ensures accurate calibration. Cold stores maintain an ultra low control atmosphere. The CO 2 and O 2 content, the temperature and the hygrometry are computer-controlled. This maintains the fruit in a fresh condition comparable with the conditions on picking.



Packaging is provided by two packing lines, one including waxing and ended by automatic palletisation. A newly built refrigerated bay allows the loading on refrigerated vehicles without any break in the cold chain: an additional safety measure for high-quality apples.
