Ecuador: International Banana Seminar

Tholen - On Monday 23 and Tuesday 24, the Ecuadorian Banana Export Association Aebe is holding the third International Banana Seminar on the new developments in the market for Ecuadorian bananas. National and domestic experts will analyse the commercial, social and environmental aspects of trade. Also a form on productivity and the improvement of crops will be held, as well as a forum on Corporate Responsibility, during which Aebe will present its action plan for 2006.

Some known partakers from politics and the industry are Juan Palomeque of Fruta Rica, Juan David Alarcón of Turbana; Igor Khayak of the Sunway Group. Roberto Hoyos and Joaquín Orrantia are partaking on behalf of Ecuadorian growers and Eduardo Ledesma on behalf of exporters.

The forum on productivity counts with the partaking of a.a. Jorge Sauma of Corbana, Costa Rica and Roberto Hoyos of Augura, Colombia.
