Peru exports superfruit camu camu to Japan

Tholen – During 2005 Japan turned out to be one of the most important markets for Peruvian exports. The exports of camu camu fruit, which comes from the Amazone, has a vitamin C grade of 60 times the concentration in ascorbic acid, and it gets more popular. Japan imports 83% of the Peruvian camu camu exports and interest for this product starts to grow in the US and the UK.
