Vietnam: International food fair opened in Ha Noi

The 2006 food, beverage and aquatic product international fair (Vietfood 2006) kicked off in Ha Noi yesterday on Jan. 5.

The fair attracted many renowned Vietnamese enterprises, associations, and research institutes such as Nestle Viet Nam, and Seaprodex Viet Nam and foreign enterprises from China, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, and Singapore.

Prominent at the fair are a wide range of aquatic products of the Viet Nam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers’ enterprises, which demonstrate the export potential of Viet Nam’s aquatic products.

Many other products such as sugar, milk, soft drinks, processed fruit, canned food, and frozen food were also showcased at the fair.
