Tomra Systems wins vending machine order from Germany's Edeka Group

Tomra Systems ASA said it has won an order from the German retailing group, Edeka Group, to supply 900 new combined reverse vending machine systems for refillable and non-refillable beverage containers.

Furthermore, Tomra will also be upgrading 550 of Edeka's already installed vending machines for refillable containers to now also handle non-refillable containers.

Installation of the new machines and the upgrade of already installed machines will start early in 2006 and continue throughout the year.
