In order to cluster efforts and increase sales, Fossa Eugenia has decided to sell Habets van Wylick to the Staay Food Group. The boards of directors of the Habets van Wylick and Staay Food Group join efforts to further build the company. Statutory director R. Schouteten will join the board of directors of Staay Food Group.

With this merger Staay Food Group will be an important player in the international fruit and vegetables business, targeting mainly supermarket organisations and foodservice channels. Staay Food Group has its own international fruit and vegetables production facilities. Next to the traditional sales of fresh fruit and vegetables, the share of salads and coolfresh pre-cut convencience products is still increasing.

What does this mean for our customers?

A larger geographical coverage of production as well as purchase and sales makes it possible to increase the level of service of the company. Because of synergy effects and operation on a larger scale, Staay food group will be even more attractive to customers as well as growers.
